Roses are my floral weakness. I LOVE them. I don’t care how trite or how predictable, they are without rival in the flower world in my eyes…especially the kind that smell like heaven on a summer’s day. I had just planted 6 rose bushes on our property right before we sold it. Truly, that was the hardest thing for me to walk away from. They were like offspring to me. And since then, I tried to plant Lincoln Roses in planters in the city that caught a blight and died next season.
