Back when I had my beautiful perennial garden (Oh how I long for those days again!), I made a daily habit of dumping our coffee grounds into the base of my hydrangeas waiting for the acid to do it’s work on the colors. I never considered that it was also mulching and keeping my cats out of there too!  Other things your coffee grounds are good for are: Composting, Pest control, good for acid loving plants like roses and gardenias, easy fertilizer, great for carrot and radish harvest!
