Pasta and pizza are two universally loved, yet most blamed for extra weight around the middle. I won’t lie to you. Zoodles, i.e. zucchini noodles, will not trick you into believing you’re eating a no-carb pasta. They are far less dense and higher in water content, and thus less satisfying. Plus, you won’t get the desirable serotonin boost a carb-heavy pasta meal will give you. BUT, if you are on a diet and cutting out pasta, or if you’re gluten-sensitive or have Celiac’s disease and the gluten free pasta options out there don’t do it for you, you might be surprised by how much you’ll like zoodles in their many incarnations that you’ll see below. Personally, I bought this kitchen doo-dad and make them like my mama made pasta: With a meat sauce and shredded mozzarella. It is quite filling!
