Would you know how to tell if the bundle of wood you just picked up at the supermarket was truly seasoned? Or if the wood you’re collecting from your campsite surround is good to burn or perhaps shouldn’t be burned? Not all wood is appropriate to burn, let alone burn well. But if you know what to look for, like cracks at the end of the wood, or a dull gray or dark yellow color, then you will have a cleaner-burning, longer-lasting fire.
