There is something so awful about being locked out of your own home (or car for that matter). It always seems to happen at the worst time. It takes so long to get back in. Whether it’s waiting for your husband or wife or neighbor with a spare key, or even a locksmith, it just seems to take forever. And the worst part is, it could’ve been prevented by a well hidden spare. Don’t know where to hide the spare? Well, here you go:

A safer option is to buy a ‘key safe’ at a big box store like Lowes or Home Depot. They cost about $25-30 and are easy to install. Punch in your code and you will have access to your key and never be locked out. Your key can not be accessed by anyone unless you give them the code.
