After reading the article below, I’d like to mention and underscore that they only studied families of low-socioeconomic status. Not that the results aren’t still meaningful, but I know that this single factor often has a huge impact in most other areas of life. So I would personally like to see a study that takes people from all walks of life into the study. Regardless, I think the message is extremely important to heed: Dad’s have a real impact on their children’s development. Period. We can’t assume that they have none and that it’s all on mom.
