For someone who lives off the grid, whether they use solar panels or a turbine or a gas generator, it is very important to reduce the power consumption as much as possible, especially if there isn’t much electricity being produced to cover all the electrical consumption in the home. Water heating is one power-consuming process if it uses electricity. This is a nice eco-friendly DIY project that not only heats your water for you but also recycles plastic bottles. Although the manual is in Portuguese it’s drawings makes it self-explanatory. Enjoy this project from Brazil!
