We actually did this, and I will say it does work! For a very low cost diy makeover, it is quite easy. Just be sure to seal the paint very well, or the heat or utensils hitting the backsplash will scuff the paint and expose the old tile. - A good quality primer
- General Finishes milk paint in the color of your choosing
- General Finishes High-Performance Water Based Top Coat {I used flat finish)
- Small foam roller
- Paint brush
