I don’t own leather anything, so I can’t vouch for how well olive oil can work to refinish the color and restore the surface of scratched up leather like this. But, the author from the Tattered Rabbit below has lots of pictures and background to support the effect! I find it really astounding that supermarket olive oil can work this well! I know they sell conditioning oils and products for leather, but naturally, every industry will market a product you probably don’t need when something more accessible and less expensive is available.
