Being in the south has reminded me of how great Pecan Pie can be! Well, did you know you could make it in a crock pot? Well, not the vanilla ice cream of course, but the rest of it. My mouth is watering already. If you have tried this in your crock pot, let us know how it came out!
Here’s what you need:
1 refrigerated pie crust
3 eggs
1 cup sugar
2/3 cup dark corn syrup
1/3 cup melted butter
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups chopped pecans or a combination of chopped and whole pecan halves
Vanilla ice cream for serving
