Are you guys tired of the stainless steel in your house? I’m from Nebraska, and a lot of families are starting to switch to that “modern” stainless steel look to their homes. I hate it. I like something down home. I like a piece that reminds me of living at my mom’s house. With this DIY wood tilt-out trash can cabinet, you now can dispose of your garbage and never have to worry about it being in site. (now if only you could hide the smell.)
This project is something that I’m going to have to give to my own mother. She never likes being able to see her garbage and always does her best to hide it away under a kitchen sink or goes out of her way to purchase some $80 trash can from Bed Bath and Beyond that has a self-closing lid. (True story, it’s too stupid to make up.) Whatever makes a trash can worth $80, I will never know, but I bet you can get this whole DIY done for you and your family this summer for the same prices.
