I can speak from experience here. I have downsized several times now, and am at close to as minimal as I can get with a wife, small child and dog. I can say it is quite a relief. Going from a 2200 square foot one acre residence to a 240 square foot RV has been such an amazing transformation. While my extreme downsizing is not for everyone, I truly believe most people could benefit from living a little smaller. More things, more burden. And the irony is most of the things we buy are designed to make our lives simpler! It is quite the paradox.
