I’ve never become more aware of squeaky floors since I’ve become a mother. There’s nothing worse than spending 45 minutes getting your infant to fall asleep, attempt to tip-toe out of the room, only to step on a squeaky floorboard and wake the child up. THE WORST! I have gotten more gray hairs the last two years over moments like this than any other scenario. If you’ve got uncarpeted floors or exposed subfloors from below, this isn’t that hard a fix. I actually didn’t even think this was possible until recently.
