Here’s One Garden Insect You Shouldn’t Kill… and probably couldn’t anyway

If you’re like me, you hawk your plants for pests like a monkey looking for dinner in his tribe mate’s fur. If I see aphids, forget about it. I will douse that plant in a high pressure spray of water, and check every hour for signs of life. Aphids are pretty universally known to be bad for your vegetation. But, as it turns out, not all bugs are the threat they may seem. This bizarre sack of spittle containing a bug, the spittlebug, is just one of those insects.
