This is such a clever trick! I had no idea when I first saw the picture how they accomplished this camouflage job. It’s so simple it should be obvious. You need the right tools of course, but all it requires is gently peeling back a strip of wood above where the screw will be drilled, and then gluing it back down once the screw is in place. Genius!
