Should you find yourself in a situation where your A/C quits on you and you either don’t have the funds to get someone to fix it or just can’t get anyone out quick enough, this just might do the trick. In any case, it’s very inventive, and that’s what DIY is all about, getting creative and thinking outside the box.
I love it! Be warned, we’ve been told this is only effective in climates with 30% humidity or less.

Michele Rogers maybe you can make one for your classroom.
Coooool!!! 🤣🤣🤣👍🏻 I’m gonna have to check this out!! Luckily today it’s gonna cool down… with no AC at work and home… this heat wave about killed me 😬🔥😓
Anyone try this with success. How small of a room does it cool?
This may help in a small 8 by 8 bedroom if door is kept closed. Not a long term fix. Big tip is don’t get a high powered fan, it’ll melt the ice very quickly. You want to concentrate the air into one spot. I’ve made dozens of these. Look at adding a solar charger , great in a tent to take the sting out of a hot day.
Having one in a tent was my idea. I have a solar setup that i take on long term camping trips.
Joel Carlisle battery powered when we have summer pop ups!!!
Total flop. It was a waste of time.
Doesn’t work. Tried it. Total waste of time and money.
