This DIY sofa is just another example of how furniture can be. Not only that, you can buy a pricey outdoors sofa, use it for a year or two, then throw it away because it couldn’t withstand the weather or because it wasn’t as sturdy as it needed to be. On the other hand, when you make a piece of furniture you control these factors depending on what you use.
This awesome looking outdoors sofa can be made in a few hours using only some 4x8s and 2x4s, lag screws and L-brackets. The only addition I can think of to this project is adding support in the middle of the sofa to make it sturdier.
What I love the most about this sofa is that although it says it is an outdoor sofa, I don’t see why it can’t be indoors as well! The design is nice, and it looks pretty comfortable. They got the cushions from IKEA but it’s up to you to choose something else that would be suitable for the environment you put the sofa in.
