Have you ever had a “popcorn ceiling” before? If you did you would know how much of an eye sore it is. Popcorn ceilings came around as a cheap and inexpensive way of putting something on your ceiling. It doesn’t look good and it’s ugly as hell. Removing it can be quite the task, but luckily with some research, you can shorten your endeavors drastically. The solution is simple. Just ad water! You know, like those old Infomercials you would see on TV? “Just add water!” That was a poor joke, but I’m being serious! If you get a spray bottle and squirt it on the ceiling, then take a scraper, it shortens the time it takes to do the job and it comes off so easily.
