We just realized we’re going to need an outbuilding on our property to store our bikes and other outdoor equipment since we have no garage or covered area. And knowing full well that sheds can be dark, dingy places, running electricity to it is a must for me. I need light!
For anyone who questions this, you CAN do your own electrical work in your own home and legally pull a permit to do so in any state without being a licensed electrician. ONLY if you are the homeowner doing the work. Some states might not have restrictions at all on who’s pulling the permit, but rest-assured: homeowners can do whatever work they want to their own abode (granted it is an approved project, of course).
