When I was a kid, I hated fish. My mom only ever made fried flounder and I guess it was just too “fishy” for my young palate. But she always tried to bait me with the, “It’s brain food!” defense. Years later, I learned of the importance of DHA and brain development. In grad school, I remember reading an article of how the herb rosemary can help improve your memory. This was before I knew of essential oils. I remember boiling up fresh rosemary on the stove top and draping a towel over my head to inhale the aroma, convinced that I would retain everything I heard in class that day! Turns out, it still is touted as a pretty powerful memory booster! And the other foods on the list pretty much describe my daily diet. I should have a photographic memory!
