Last week I mistakenly put all of our bread products in our RV microwave to store them since we were out of fridge and counter space. This trick has always worked in our houses, but the side of the RV that faces the sun generates a great deal of heat inside the cabinets, and also, the microwave. Overnight, all of the bread got moldy.
A loaf of Ezekiel bread, a package of tortillas, and hotdog buns. I contemplated returning them, but it was my own fault, so I threw them away. Little did I know that the mold was Penicillin! And it also grows on oranges, like in the picture above! Now, I haven’t taken antibiotics in decades and I don’t recommend anyone jump to scraping the mold off your bread if you get a cough. But this is the type of good info that could potentially save your life in a survival situation. Read on how to properly grow and harvest your mold to use it as a powerful antibiotic.

Amanda Wanta Kunkel, perhaps you have a budding pharmacist?!
well shit, it’s a good thing I didn’t throw those fruits away today while cleaning out the fridge. Little did I know, I was growing penicillin!!! WIN
Penicillin is almost completely useless at this point.
