We did a post recently on magnesium deficiencies here and how rampant it is in our population. I immediately started taking an oral magnesium supplement and eating plenty of the high-magnesium foods like avocado, banana, and chocolate (yum!). But as it turns out, our bodies aren’t super efficient at getting the magnesium from the food we eat. It does a better job of absorbing it directly from the skin! So this is the new thing: Magnesium oil spray. Super easy to make or even to mix in with your regular lotion or body butter. Just mix magnesium flakes with boiling water!
