I started off writing this article from a source that uses fabric softener for the base of the project. Then I remembered, I don’t want to POISON all of you with the horrible chemicals that comprise fabric softener and are known to be linked to cancer. So I found a better article using vinegar and essential oils for the reusable dryer sheets. Mind you, I don’t use anything at all, but I might give this one a try. The directions below advise using pieces of cloth or old T-Shirts, but I don’t see any reason why you can’t use sponges like the original project pictured above suggests. If you try it, let me know how it works!
