How To Make Scented Pine Cones

hometalk.com

Even if you don’t have pine cones in the backyard like the author does, you can easily go gallivanting to find them somewhere in your neighborhood, assuming you’ve got some kind of evergreens close by. If not, you can buy the unscented kind at the craft store as well! This process is super easy, especially if you already have cinnamon essential oil on hand.  She suggests buy craft store cinnamon oil if you don’t want to cure cinnamon sticks in olive oil. However, if you have a small (expensive) bottle of cinnamon essential oil like I do, I think placing several drops in the olive oil would do the trick as well.

Here’s the full process below. Such fun!

Scented pinecones are my nemesis! I get so sick within a minute or two of being around them. Of course all the grocery stores have them between now and Christmas! I can’t be the only person in the world who is affected by it! Why don’t more people speak up?
