Too many parents have come to accept a medical diagnosis of ADHD for their kids without addressing some underlying triggers that might result in such hyperactive behaviors. In fact, some paradigms don’t recognize this as a disorder at all, but as a set of symptoms resulting from environmental factors such as diet, lack of exercise, and even lack of emotional or spiritual guidance. One unconventional method is to use caffeine as a substitute for Ritalin. Ritalin is a stimulant after all! It’s a complicated issue and a growing problem.
