I got the idea for this post when one of our readers mentioned his pancakes came out as thin as crepes. My first thought and response were, “Slap some Nutella on those babies!” Nutella might quite possibly be my most guilty pleasure. I’m sure there are few who would disagree that its sweet allure is hard to ignore!
My favorite flavor application of Nutella has always been to just spread it on a piece of bread and fold it in half. I grew up on this snack and always called it, “Chocolate Bread”. That phrase is as familiar to me as “eggs and bacon”. I’ve often seen this dish on the menu at brunch places, but never thought to make it myself! Silly! It’s not tough at all.
