Have an old CD tower lying around? Looking for more storage? Repurpose an old CD shelf as built-in storage. We are always looking for more storage, especially in our kitchen. With a good-sized pantry, we felt we weren’t using our space well because it was always filled.
Randomly one day, we found a hollow area of vertical space in our pantry (confirmed by an endoscope camera), cut into the drywall, and then installed the pantry shelf. The result? An upcycled piece of furniture and a glorious new storage shelf in our pantry for all of our spices and baking supplies. The cost was nothing, the time spent was only a couple of hours, and the space gained is amazing!
