Every time I try to remember something I look up and to the right. Have you ever noticed that maybe you do something similar? My husband was under the mistaken belief that this is an indication that someone is lying. So, of course, I looked it up. Turns out, this is a very pervasive myth that has even been incorporated into police interrogation training. Turns out, that your eyes give very little away in terms of lying. Your hands, on the contrary, may say a lot more. That’s a whole other post.
