I’m a big fan of using food, and nature’s resources, to keep the body healthy, strong and fighting off illness and disease. I rarely get sick, but when I feel something come on, I follow a protocol: No sugar, no dairy, no alcohol. High doses vitamin C every 2 hours to saturate the cells, lots of water and tea with local, raw, organic honey, raw garlic or garlic tablets, and extra zinc and selenium. My symptoms are never severe or last longer than 3 days.
This recipe sounds REALLY kick-ass and combines the best of many powerful foods out there. A combo of apple cider vinegar, garlic, and onions (potent anti-virals and anti-bacterials), honey, chili powder and turmeric, this stuff should boost your immune system and keep it strong to keep the bugs from infiltrating your system.
Ingredients:
- 3 cups of apple cider vinegar
- 1/4 cup of chopped garlic
- 1/4 cup of chopped onion
- 2 fresh chili peppers
- 1/4 cup of grated ginger
- 2 teaspoons of grated horseradish
- 2 teaspoons of turmeric
- 3 teaspoons of honey
Except for the apple cider vinegar, mix all ingredients in a bowl very well until they are hemogenious. Take the mixture and put it in a jar. Add the vinegar, and seal the jar. Again, mix them well by shaking the jar. Put the jar in a cool dark place for 14 days then strain it through gauze.
Take 1 teaspoon of this remedy every day to protect yourself from infections and bacteria. It has a strong flavor but that’s because it is a strong infection defeater.
