The one thing I’m most excited about when buying our next house is starting a vegetable garden. However, the only vegetable I’ve ever grown is tomatoes, in a container, and admittedly, not that successfully. I’m determined to do my due diligence this time around and create something that looks like the picture above.
Gardening is really a science, and you should never start one uninformed and flippantly, expecting things to just “come together” because you planted some seeds and watered them. There are many factors you should take into account like the amount of sun hitting your space, pH of the soil, how to fertilize properly and how you will irrigate. Here’s a great starting point to plan your garden, but be sure to dig (pun intended) even further than this before planting!
