This was a bit of an eye opener for me, though I haven’t yet determined if being pregnant has had some influence on my lymphatic drainage. I exhibit some of the strange symptoms described above, like mucous drainage, ear popping and my arms falling asleep in the middle of the night. Interestingly enough, before I read this article, I had begun the practice of dry brushing, which encourages lymphatic drainage, and also a lymphatic face massage to improve sinus functioning and breathing. The biggest suggestions to activate your lymphatic are to MOVE and to stay hydrated, two areas where I have been failing somewhat lately!
