I only tried growing a tomato plant once but the results were disappointing. I bought an entire heirloom tomato plant, put it in a planter, added fresh compost, and watched it sprout, oh, three tomatoes the entire season. Small ones. I love the idea of using kitchen scraps to regrow food. It’s so efficient, economical AND low risk? I’m frankly amazed that this can actually work, but the blogger at growerflow has done it a-plenty, so I’ll defer to the experts here! I’ll be giving this a go next week! Check the steps in the link below:
