I am in love with this idea. Not only because of the unique, visual impact it holds, but because it’s the kind of project I can sort of take my time with. I wanted to make an accent wall in our bedroom because we have a lot of grey and the room is small. But that would require covering the floor and the furniture, and taping the moulding and moving things out, etc. With this idea, I can work on a few square feet a day without disrupting my entire room. Plus there are so many clever options.If you are looking for the contrast of an accent wall but want to try something different and less messy than wallpaper, consider a stenciled pattern.
