It may be too late this year to start doing this, but it’s something to keep in mind until next season. I buy a watermelon every week in the summer for about two months that’s about 9 watermelons that’s $45 not a lot of money to save really. But I remember we used to grow watermelons when I was a little kid, they would be laying there on the floor, we will pick a ripe one, cut a slice, and eat the most delicious watermelon ever. I don’t know what makes homegrown food taste better than the ones you buy.
