I am sure all of you that have been outdoors before know the importance of the items in the list below. But for first timers that don’t have a guide, they don’t have to learn this stuff the hard way like I did. Carrying a flashlight and a pocket knife are pretty obvious, but making sure to carry a metal water bottle instead of plastic is critical because you want to have something that can be heated in case you want to boil water. So if you are a first timer, here is an article that you might thank me for afterwards.
