Some things, you might not guess that you can do yourself and come up real nice as if it came from a factory. Like this nice concrete table top fire pit in the picture above, it looks nice and smooth, you can do it yourself, and it would not cost much. All you need is:
Two disposable bowls to use as molds (one larger than the other)
Concrete mix
Non-stick cooking spray
Sandpaper
Gravel
Something heavy to use as a weight
Decorative fire-safe rocks or glass pebbles (I used the latter)
Canned gel fuel
Cutting pliers
Hardware cloth, 1/4 inch – 1/2 inch grid (i.e. wire mesh sheet)
Protective gloves
