So this DIY is really just showcasing an adhesive called Simple Mat, in place of messy Quikset. I admit, I’ve never heard of this product, but after reading this How To, I feel like this would be just a bit harder than the peel and stick tiles we were going to do but better looking and higher quality, and probably a little less work than traditional tiling. I’m just unsure of the longevity of such adhesive. I suppose once you have the grout on (yes you still have to do that part) it’s probably not going anywhere. But if you have any experience using Simple Mat, please share your results! If not, this is how it works:
