Hopefully, that intro got your attention. Throughout the past several generations many people in the US have become averse to the most basic form of human propulsion… walking. Fortunately, I am not among those who shy away from walking good distances. If you are, or if you would like to know some of the finer points of  foot travel, this is a great read:

    the problem becomes the ones you love that are old and sick. walkings not an option for some

      ive gamed it out, im 60, can walk and do alot, could i carry enough with a cart made with bicycle wheels and my spouse.. 15 mile daily trek becomes 5 maybe and how long could it be maintained in high stress,.low food situation?
