Trying to spread butter straight from the fridge can be such a frustrating endeavor. Especially if you are in a hurry. It seems that every time I’ve tried to soften butter it turns it to liquid. Who knew there was this quick easy trick to soften it just the right amount. I only hope I remember this the next time I need it!
The idea is simple but brilliant! Fill a glass with hot water and leave it for a minute then empty the glass and cover the butter with it for another minute. That’s it! spread away!
