Our thrift store is CHOCK full of old ugly lamps that have likely been sitting there for years. I have one in mind in particular that reminds me a lot of the pineapple base above. I LOVE this idea, and it pains me that I can never be as creative as this and come up with ways to re-purpose otherwise unwanted pieces into gems like this.
