I am UNREASONABLY excited about this post. My husband loves grapefruit, and even though I’m not a huge citrus fan, we usually have these in stock every week. I used to like to put a few rinds down the garbage disposal for the lovely, clean scent that would waft up, but always felt wrong about throwing the rest in the trash. It’s absolutely absurd that I haven’t looked into this before. There are about ten great things you can do with citrus rinds, and every single one of them is useful to me!
I hope you agree and stop throwing your citrus peels in the trash! At the very least, you can toss them in your cleaning vinegar to add a nice, refreshing scent to household chores.
