I normally have an aversion to selecting seasonal plants or annuals that I expect everyone else on the block will have. Mums are really the exception to that rule. They are a sure sign that fall is here, they come in many festive fall colors (I like purple and yellow for Halloween!), and they are fairly easy to care for and keep alive. That IS if you don’t let them dry out.

I’ve seen similar systems before, but admit, have never actually replicated the method. I haven’t gotten my mums yet, but when I do, I will try this!
